Puerto Rican percussionist and singer NOCHI showcases his versatile, romantic, dreamy, fun, and heartfelt approach to music to capture the hearts of listeners and fans alike. With numerous titles released as a singer/ songwriter, under different genres, NOCHI promises not to disappoint with his new single “Sal De Mi Cabeza”. The year is 2020, while reinventing himself during the pandemic, Sergio “Chino” Ramos, a percussionist for 25+ years, created a new character in his entourage: NOCHI Fun-tip: Repeat “Chino” multiple times and you get: CHI NO CHI NOCHI With no music venues to perform in, and the world only able to connect via social media and Zoom, NOCHI set out a personal goal to write, produce, record, and release music in different genres to re-connect with his world.
NOCHI has been appearing all over the New York, Tri-State area, doing pop-up appearances at the New York International Salsa Congress singing bachata, to singing Freestyle at the CT Latino Fest in Bridgeport, CT. With his latest release, “Sal De Mi Cabeza”, NOCHI hopes to continue writing and performing for all his fans, regardless of which genre it may be… NOCHI aka Sergio “Chino” Ramos is also a Latin percussionist who has been playing professionally for over 25+ years in the Salsa genre. With studies in percussion, piano, and voice, Chino has earned the respect of audiences and musicians around the world.
