A hybrid of two cultures, the Puertorican/Dominican singer and songwriter, Freddy K, is ready to reinvent the latin urban genre. He is now ready to make his mark in the music industry with the soon to be released album Freddy Kenton “La Dynastia”
Freddy was raised in Puerto Rico where he grew up to witness his famous father’s successful career in Latin America & the United States latin scenes. Freddy Kenton Sr. is a living legend and was also known for his extraordinary and original ground breaking dance moves which captivated the crowds from many parts of the world. Freddy K. on many occasions traveled from city to city to shows where his father was scheduled to perform. That started the fire in his soul when he also joined him on stage as a child, an experience that forever changed his desire to be an artist.
Freddy K., inspired by his father’s success has been driven all his life to be the next link in his family’s chain of talent as he learned to compose all his music and lyrics with unique and extraordinary style that he is now ready to reveal to the world.
Freddy Kenton “La Dynastia” will have a mixture genre with a diverse line up of many talented artists and music producers like the renowned arranger Richard Marcell who has worked with Grammy winning artists. “La Dynastia” consists of many latin music styles like Salsa, Merengue, Bachata, Reggeaton, Latin R&B and Dance. His new Bachata single, “Acarisiame,” is now ready for radio release with a bachata blend that will move dance floors across the world, as well as his remake of Eddie Santiago’s famous hit song “Lluvia”.
Freddy has been on the same stages with famous artists such as El Gran Combo,La Sonora Poncena,Carlos Y Alejandra,Domenic Marte,Bachata Heightz,Loisaidas, Pitbull,Frankie Negron, Nina Sky, Alexis Y Fido, Kat DeLuna, Monchy & Alexandra, Eddie Santiago, Michael Stuart, Frankie Negron, Rkm Y Ken-Y , Brenda K Starr and Maelo Ruiz to name a few.
His career heightened in 2017 when he partnered with beer giant Coors Light, for a month-long promotional campaign featuring his single titled “One Day”. This promotion which gained over 100,000 views within a month’s time, was viewable on social media platforms such as Pandora, YouTube and Facebook and also aired on radio stations across the Midwest.
Freddy K has recently crossed into the Salsa genre by teaming up with legendary producer Isidro Infante to bring you “Estar Contigo”.
