Hoy, la ganadora del Latin GRAMMY® ELA TAUBERT, reconocida como una de las voces más prometedoras y cautivadoras del pop latino, anuncia el lanzamiento de su anticipado álbum debut ‘PREGUNTAS A LAS 11:11’, previsto para el viernes, 9 de mayo.
‘PREGUNTAS A LAS 11:11’ es un proyecto íntimo que ofrece una mirada a las reflexiones nocturnas de ELA sobre el amor, el desamor y el autodescubrimiento. Inspirado por los sobre pensamientos que nos mantiene despiertos por la noche, el álbum es un diario musical lleno de preguntas—preguntas que ELA sigue haciéndose. El título del álbum también es un guiño a una tradición familiar de hacer deseos a las 11:11, con cada canción reflejando una pregunta profundamente personal en la vida de ELA. ‘PREGUNTAS A LAS 11:11’incluirá una mezcla de los recientes sencillos de la artista incluyendo “¿Cómo Paso? (Con Joe Jonas)”, “¿Para Qué?”, “¿Por Qué No Me Fui Antes?”, “¿Por Qué Soy Así?” y su colaboración con el legendario productor Max Martin, “¿Es En Serio?”, junto con una gran cantidad de material recién grabado.
Acerca del anuncio del álbum ELA dice “Después de años de reflexión, crecimiento y exploración creativa, me emociona anunciar la fecha de lanzamiento de mi álbum debut ‘PREGUNTAS A LAS 11:11’. Cada canción es un fragmento de mi vida, una colección de preguntas y un reflejo de los momentos que me dieron forma. Este álbum no trata de encontrar respuestas, sino de vivir el proceso, de aceptar que a veces pensar demasiado está bien y que no tener respuestas también está bien. El álbum se convirtió en un refugio y una fuente de escape para mí y mis besties. Cada vez que escucho esas canciones, me hacen reír o recordar momentos, y siento que cada pregunta que inmortalicé allí sonará diferente en el futuro.”
Para acompañar el anuncio del álbum, ELA también lanza el primer adelanto del álbum, “¿Cómo Haces?”, que comenzó a promocionar en sus redes sociales el mes pasado. “¿Cómo Haces?” es un poderoso homenaje a su madre Erika, que ha adquirido un nuevo significado gracias a una tendencia viral en TikTok. Los fans ahora dedican la canción a cualquiera que haya sido su apoyo incondicional, ya sea un padre, amigo, hermano o incluso una mascota.
A particularly special track for ELA, “¿Cómo Haces?” also features live fan vocals from her sold-out ‘Metamorfosis Tour’ show in Bogotá. During the September 2024 performance, ELA invited her audience to sing the chorus, capturing 15 takes before landing the perfect recording, which now graces the song’s conclusion.
About the track ELA Shares, “¿Cómo Haces?” is a deeply personal song for me. I wrote it for my mom, which makes it even more meaningful. It’s a tribute to my fans, family, friends, and everyone who has always supported me, no matter the circumstances. The song holds a special place in my heart, and just thinking about it brings me to tears. Towards the end, you can hear the voices of my fans, family, and friends—captured during our first Sold Out concert in Bogotá. In this way, I made sure that the people I love the most are part of this song that means the world to me.”
The album announcement and single release come on the heels of ELA’s debut performances at two of Latin America’s biggest festivals: Estéreo Picnic in Colombia and Tecate Pa’l Norte in Mexico. During her performance at Tecate, ELA teased fans with hints of a surprise announcement, leaving the crowd buzzing with speculation about her upcoming album.
With this album announcement, ELA continues to consolidate herself as one of the most outstanding artists in the music scene. She kicked off 2025 by being recognized as an “Artist to Watch” by Amazon Music, Pandora and VEVO DSCVR. Additionally, ELA is no stranger to the spotlight with a remarkable track record in the “Best New Artist” categories. Last year, she earned her first major win at the 21st Edition of Premios Juventud as ‘New Generation – Female Artist,’ followed by the ‘Best New Artist’ award at the 2024 Latin GRAMMYs and ‘Pop-Rock/Urban Female New Artist of the Year’ at this year’s Premio Lo Nuestro awards.
