Carla Virola is an accomplished Singer/Songwriter/Pianist,
Carla’s original music has been reviewed by Billboard Magazine and she has had the honor to qualify in several songwriting and performance categories in the 1995 Grammy’s with her sister LisaMarie for their CD EP Symmetry in Motion as the Duo Sorella.
Being in the same company of Mariah Carey and many well established artists, fueled the flame for her love of performing music live for her fans.
Carla’s passion to continue writing and perform her original music keeps her at the piano writing new material ready to share with her audiences.
All of her professional music experience is the true differentiator for her fans.
Carla is also a professional actress having appeared numerous times on SNL, One Life to Live, several television commercial spots including Eyewitness News, Gotta Be & Emeril commercials and an As seen on TV – infomercial throughout her entertainment
career. Most recently Carla was a featured model on the Daily Show
and in Women’s Day Magazine.

Carla can sing in: Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, Hebrew and French and she is equally comfortable performing all styles of music from high society to Ethnic to Pop Music.
Every artist has to start somewhere. Carla’s story is no different. Her
humble beginnings start when she was born to her Parents, Puerto
Rican immigrants landing in NYC’s Spanish Harlem. Seeing them work hard to win the “American Dream” gave her the hunger to succeed in the city that never sleeps
Carla attended NYC’s famed LaGuardia High school of Music & Art
made famous by the movie “Fame.” It was here she cultivated her craft and subsequently she went on to study musical theater and acting at NYC’s American Musical and Dramatic Academy. By night, she worked at the Metropolitan Opera house and watched operatic artists as they projected their voices to fill the opera house without amplification. She soon adopted their techniques into her Pop style of singing and has never looked back!
