It was chosen as the official theme song of “Carnaval De La Cultura Latina 2015”, & the music video won “Best Indie/ Unsigned Artist YouTube Music Video” on mymusicmylife.com for the month of October, & was also the winner of “Coast 2 Coast” Live Music Video Showcase on Aug. 24th 2015. With La Melaza El Que Rompe from Dominican Republic, & Spellbyndaz & Bridgette Angelique from Long Island, New York, distance has became of no barrier between these Indie artists in what they have been able to achieve & continue to achieve together from 2 different countries.
Spellbyndaz recently was nominated for (and won) “Best Rap Duo” in the Underground Music Awards. This Duo is made up of 2 friends since childhood, Cesar & Rich. They are a polished Up and Coming Hip Hop group that has consistently released good music mixing a fusion of Hip Hop, Dance, and Latin music to come up with their own unique sound and vibe. Over 20 years in the music industry as ARTISTS/PRODUCERS, they have been writing and producing tracks. They were FEATURED IN THE SOURCE MAGAZINE (UNSIGNED HYPE), showcased for (Universal Records) and opened up the show for Mega Reggaeton for (Pina Records) at the Hammerstein Ballroom in NYC. Bridgette Angelique has self-released 2 R&B/ Pop albums, “Plan B” & “Heart Of A Champion”. All songs were written & performed by her. “Plan B” was a local bestseller featured in Good Times Magazine & “Heart Of A Champion” is a free digital EP that not only displays her singing/songwriting skills but her audio engineering skills as well as she recorded herself & mixed on almost all the tracks. She recently made her 1st movie appearance singing her original collaboration song, “Chosen One” by ATL Hip Hop Artist Skino Brown & her in“The Mint” movie starring Jenni “JWoww” Farley. This Latina has headlined at “The Ear Waxx Sessions” aka “The Premier Creative Expo”, opened for French Montana, Cuban Link, & other Hip Hop & R&B acts. With a strong background in music education, musical theater, & dance, & inspired by artists such as Michael Jackson, Whitney Houston, La India, No Doubt, Destiny’s Child & Jennifer Lopez, ( just to name a few) it has all helped in creating Bridgette’s cool unique sound & visual style, artistry skills, & versatility as she is not boxed in by genre. When describing her voice, most people can’t seem to pinpoint an exact singer that she replicates. But most commonly they happen to say, “She has the voice of an angel”. With “angel” being in her name she aspires to stay positive & spread love, joy, & empowering energy through her music & to the world.
