With all the global changes and difficult shifts, a new musical concept was also created during the pandemic. This new beat “genre” is called “Banga Beats, created by Mexican Americans from the SouthSide of Chicago. When the conflict with Russia and Ukraine emerged, Crudos 2.0 created a song to protest the war and support the Ukrainian people by chanting the Phrase “Resist Ukraine” that has started to become viral on social media.
All digital profits of the song will be donated to ORG which supports refugees from Ukraine. This song was recorded with special frequencies to heal fears and promote peace.
The term “Bangabeats” rose in 2021 from the well-known Musician Ismael Mota and the Veteran Publicist Mirna Solorzano (@MirnaSolorzano) in a recording studio in Chicago named Good Ear Studio in the city of Chicago, IL, which is operated and owned by one of the best regional Mexican Producers in the industry. “Banga” is a word that has multiple connotations, one of them is “Bang: an English word that means to “hit hard”, In Africa the word “Banga” is used to refer to “Cannabis”. “Beats’ ‘ means a pulse or rhythm. With this wordplay the term “bangabeats’ ‘ was born.
Bangabeats is a musical fusion of House music, electronic, a traditional Mexican rhythm known as “quebradita” from the ’90s, was also blended. It is a high-energy rhythm that was intended to make you feel good and heal, certain healing frequencies are added to help heal the body and soul through vibrations. The music is made to heal and create a positive contagious dancing environment which the generation Z vibes to.
The creators of this sound “Bangabeats” are Ismael Mota and Manuel Arellano from the band @crudos2.0 who have been in the industry for more than 18 years and have produced musical collaborations with multiple known artists such as Selena’s Brother AB Quintanilla, Montez De Durango, Diana Reyes, Conjunto Atardecer, Brazeros Musical, Dinastia De Tuzantla among others. This 2022, Ismael and Manuel have created this new genre and are pushing it with the band they formed called Crudos 2.0 which before were Called Crudos Tribal and Crudos De Durango.
They released a fresh new album entitled “Vibrando Alto” vibrating high that includes 10 songs all are dance songs along with the new rhythm of bangabeats with the songs “Koala Bear” and recently added “Resist Ukraine ”. “When making this album we wanted to make a high energy dance album and include healing frequencies for the heart chakra to heal and create enjoyment in this difficult time we are facing”-commented Crudos 2.0.
One of our objectives as Crudos 2.0 which consists of Ismael Mota, Manuel Arellano, Jesus Gonzales, and Jose Ramon Martinez is to bring a great show to its audience. We will have a show filled with surprise theatrical acts and silly gags that will create a new way to listen to live music.
