Rebecca Kingsley is an American-born singer, songwriter and performer, perhaps best known for pushing musical boundaries as the first non-Latina to successfully cross over into the Bachata genre. Rebecca’s smooth, warm, seductive sound, infused with a rich mix of Jazz, R&B and Latin rhythms and a sultry dose of strength and soul– has received industry support and critical acclaim in Santo Domingo, New York City and all over the world.
Rebecca Kingsley was born in Portland, Maine, USA. She studied Jazz Voice at the New School for Jazz and Contemporary Music in New York City, and graduated from Eugene Lang College as a Religious Studies Major in May of 2011.
Her newly released hit cover version of “Killing Me Softly” (Matandome Suavemente) has garnered over a million views on youtube.
