Mingo B – Hoy Y Manana

For Latin Salsa Singer Mingo B, the vintage sound of Salsa music is as essential as the blood that runs through his veins. He is a passionate, soulful performer, who brings back the heavy rhythmic sounds of old school Salsa music! His urban sound & style is captivating to listen to and watch!

Born in Brooklyn, New York, Some of his musical influences are El Gran Combo, Willie Rosario, Bobby Valentin, Puerto Rico All Stars, La Sonora Ponceña, Ray Barretto, Eddie Palmieri, Tito Allen, Ruben Blades, Oscar D’ Leon, Gilberto Santa Rosa, Lalo Rodriguez, Ray De La Paz, Jose Alberto “El Canario”, Raulin Rosendo & Rafael De Jesus..

Mingo B comes to us with his second track release, entitled “El Parrandero”. According to Mingo B, “His song selections are a tribute to the style of Salsa music that ignited the initial desire to create and record Salsa music”.

For many years, Mingo B sang and performed with his previous band known as “La Salsa Dura”. During that time, he composed several original songs, reflecting themes like growing up in the city, and his commitment to his family.

In addition to singing, much of Mingo B’s time is spent in his recording studio, where he works on production and engineering, for both personal and client-based recordings. As each song from Mingo B is released, it is the hope that today’s listeners will develop a musical appreciation for a current Salsa artist with a flavor from those before us. Nothing but FLAVA!
