Today we have new music from Mexican Institute of Sound (MIS)!! His new single, Dios is the first single off-of his new album, Distrito Federal that will be out in October 2020!
The single is filled with rhythms that transport us back to specific places, to gatherings at family parties when you can take over the dance floor and show-off your best moves. It’s been said that musical genres have died, the truth is that they have evolved. MIS is a genre in itself where cumbias, noises that sound like alarms or digital sequences are mixed.
Distrito Federal is a love letter from Camilo to his city, a city that no longer exists, but lives in mental photographs. His latest album features collaborations with:Dan The Automator (Gorillaz), Graham Coxon (Blur) as well as Sergio Mendoza, Duckwrth, BIA, Cuco, Banda Misteriosa and La Perla from Colombia.
