| Saban Music Group’s breakout artist Marie Monti is back, releasing today a remix of her single “Me Duele,” featuring one of reggaeton’s hottest artists, Hozwal.
The remix adds more urban flavor to the already seductive and sexy track, which has garnered nearly 800,000 YouTube views since its release on July 3.
The remix of “Me Duele” highlights Monti’s range and versatility, as her most recent release, “Tuyo,” which dropped yesterday, August 6, a cover of a slow, soulful bolero. “Tuyo” is the theme song for the Netflix Original series Narcos. It was written and originally performed by Brazilian-born artist Rodrigo Amarante, and was nominated for a Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Main Title Theme Music. Monti’s version of the song adds seductive vocals over a smooth piano to bring a more modern perspective to the original mid-century-style song.
Marie Monti is the latest artist to emerge from the partnership between Saban Music Group (SMG) and Universal Music Group (UMG).
