“Ya No Funcionó” is Lika’s second single in 2021, before an EP featuring Spanish popstar Carlos Sadness. This song continues with their transition from the alternative sounds in their second album to a more mature and unique sound, using joyful sounds for sad moments, where choruses and a wall of sound of guitars and synths are the main characters. The lyrics are about circumstances where there’s nothing more to do about it, but living with the consequences and moving on. A song to sing and dance along.
