Kemo the Blaxican hails from the Lower East Side of Los Angeles and is an original member of Los Angeles based Hip-Hop group Delinquent Habits. He’s equipped with a soulful style bilingual rhymes and profound lyrical content. Godforbid, a distinguished veteran of the East Coast underground: he cut his teeth in the 90s & early Oughts, as part of the rap group Alaskan Fishermen, with the legendary Thirstin Howl 3rd. For the last decade,Godforbidhas been the frontman of the nationally-lauded gypsy rock band That Handsome Devil, but always keeping his hip hop roots close.

Kemo The Blaxican’s new single What You Might Do is the third single off of Kemo The Blaxican’ new, three song collaboration EP with Godforbid of That Handsome Devil, titled Ugly At Times.  The single What You Might Do is a spooky Latin tinged tale of a chance encounter with a seductress of questionable intention. Together, the two prominent veteran hip hop artists with undeniable chemistry, deliver flawlessly in smooth storytelling style. What You Might Do is slated for release nationally Friday March 22, 2019 on Dead Silence Records. The EP Ugly At Times is available on all platforms now.

Kemo The Blaxican is an original MC and lyricist for West Coast Latin hip hop pioneers, “Delinquent Habits.” He is also the proud owner of indie record label, Dead Silence Records and the urban fashion brand Joint Marca Fina. Kemo also works successfully in publishing, garnering his music in numerous national T.V. ads and films, for over a decade.
