Las Cafeteras will be releasing their new single and music video “La Sirena, featuring a slew of Latina divas, dreamers and drag queens to celebrate LGBTQ+ Pride Month and Immigrant Heritage Month to the sounds of tropical music. The track is collaboration between Las Cafeteras Poder Latinx and Human Right Campaign to highlight the diversity and leadership role of Trans and Queer activists. Since 2005, Las Cafeteras have been developing a sound that breaks genre barriers with an electric performance, infusing rich lyrical tales with the purpose of sharing the hidden stories of migrant life. Born in Los Angeles, Las Cafeteras were inspired not only by Mexican music but also by rock, reggae, hip-hop and Motown.
