Karol G, one of the most prominent global female figures of Latin culture, releases her highly anticipated new single, “Bichota.” The international superstar and Latin GRAMMY winner explores new sounds to create the next anthem empowering women and men around the world. The single is now available on all digital music platforms.

“Bichota is a celebration for all women and men who choose to be fearless and fabulous. We are all Bichotas in our own special way and I hope this song provides the strength to anyone who needs it to be YOU and be a boss!,” commented KAROL G.

The powerful hymn was written by Karol G and produced by long-time collaborator and producer, Ovy On The Drums. The song delivers innovative reggaeton sounds accompanied by a melodic electric guitar and synthesizers. With incredible aesthetics, couture fashion, special effects, and complex choreography, the song’s music video artistically portrays the story of feminine force the song tells. The audiovisual production was recorded in the city of Los Angeles by award-winning video director Collin Tilley. The styling was handled by critically acclaimed Zerina Akers. The music video premiered on KAROL G’s YouTube channel, and before the premiere, YouTube Originals RELEASED aired episode 4 with a special participation from Karol G.

The release of “Bichota” follows Karol G’s RIAA 3X Platinum single, “Ay DiOs Mío!” The song peaked at #1 on Billboard’s “Latin Airplay,” “Latin Rhythm Airplay” and “Latin Pop Airplay” charts. The song garnered more than 232 million views on its music video and more than 635 million streams combined across digital music platforms. Karol G also reached expansive audiences around the world with her hit single “Tusa,” the most consumed Latin song of 2020. The mega hit counts with more than 4.4 billion combined streams and more than 1 billion views on its music video.

With her latest hits, Karol G continues to demonstrate her dominance in the music industry.
