Karol G, the number-one selling female Latin superstar, is back with her first release of the year titled “Follow” with Anuel AA. The pair recorded the track in Miami during self-quarantine, in addition to directing and producing the accompanying video. The video was recorded in their own house and shows the couple’s daily life, opening once again an exclusive window to their relationship to have fun with this new song. |

The release of “Follow” comes after KAROL G’s glittering smash hit “Tusa” with multi-platinum recording artist Nicki Minaj – which KAROL performed on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon for her late night debut. The song peaked at #3 on the Spotify Global Chart, has nearly 750 million views on YouTube, debuted at #1 on the Billboard Hot Latin Songs Chart – making it the first all female collaboration to do so – and continues to climb the Billboard Hot 100 Chart. “Follow” is also the follow-up song to Karol G and Anuel AA‘s previous two hits, “Culpables” and “Secreto.” “Culpables” is eligible for 18X Diamond certification by the RIAA in the US, has more than 1.4 billion combined streams and has over 820 million views on YouTube. The second hit, “Secreto,” which was released a few months after is also now eligible for 23X Diamond certification by the RIAA in the US, has +2.1 billion combined streams, and has garnered nearly 1 billion views on YouTube. To help people within her hometown of Medellín, Colombia, KAROL G recently donated funds to aid more than 600 families impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic. This donation was made in partnership with “Corporación Cambiando Mentes,” “Fundación Cathy Salguero” and “La Red de Antioquia Provida” to provide subsidies towards rent, groceries and different essential items that families may need during this difficult time. |
