Johnny Love is a multi-talented singer, producer and songwriter. Grandson to the late singer, percussionist and pianist Juan Ramon ‘Mon’ Santiago who had his cousin Raphy Leavitt (later of “La Selecta”) begin his music career as part of the band el “Combo Los Rey.” Born in San Juan, Puerto Rico, to a family that later emigrated to the US, he began his music career April of 2017 when he joined famed latin music Producer Maffio for the recording of 3 tracks, one of them a salsa, and all of which became a part of the Salsa album released later that year titled “Si Tu No Estas.” The track titled “Si Tu No Estas” was Maffio’s first Salsa production and his urban instincts gave new life to the genre. The track charted top 35 on Billboard’s Tropical chart that year and gave the artist a firm footing for what was to come. With his new release titled “Eso Es Asi – Street Remix” a new sound has been developed and it sounds like it’s bound to make some waves – harking back to the times of big band salsa and combining it with the urban sounds of modern trap.
