Born and raised in Northern California, music has always been a big part of Jessica Barron’s life. With a variety of music constantly being played in the household, from Selena Quintanilla and Los Bukis, to Mariah Carey and Celine Dion, Jessica knew at a young age that she had a love for music, singing, and dancing. As she grew, she was outgoing, but had a shyness about her that she set out to overcome. She joined dance classes and her high school cheer team, which gave her the confidence to perform in front of others, and pursue her passion of music. By the age of 15, with the encouragement of her family and school personnel, she began singing publicly at many of her high school’s events and other community events. After high school, she joined her college a cappella group as a chorale scholar. Her faith is also a huge part of her life, and she shares her God-given gift with her church by singing at the weekly Sunday Masses. Her biggest musical influence and inspiration is American Idol’s season 7 runner up, David Archuleta, for his talent, positive attitude, and faith. Her goal is to continue to grow as a singer and dancer. Also, she strives to be an excellent role model for others, especially young girls, and prove that having self-respect, integrity, and hard work is what will get them ahead in life. More recently, Jessica signed on as an artist with Tambora Records International, where her objective is to expand her sounds to include original compositions in English and Spanish, to include latin, tropical, and multi-cultural sounds. Her new single “No Puedo” shares those musical influences with the combination of her talented voice and very catchy lyrics.
