Gina Rodríguez, Yalitza Aparicio, Eiza González, Kate del Castillo And Natti Natasha Cover People en Español’s 2019 Más Bellos (Most Beautiful) Hispanic Celebrities Issue

This year’s theme and cover story spotlights “La Ola Latina” – The Latino Wave – in celebration of the influence of Hispanic culture on Hollywood and its contributions to entertainment. The cover of the special double-issue features five women at the forefront of changing perceptions of Hispanic culture in the industry – Mexican actress and Academy Award nominee Yalitza Aparicio (Roma), American actress Gina Rodríguez (Jane the VirginAnnihilation), Mexican actress and singer Eiza González (Baby Driver, Alita: Battle Angel) Mexican actress Kate del Castillo (La Reina del Sur), and Dominican singer and songwriter Natti Natasha.

For the first time ever, the franchise’s annual Más Bellos VIP party celebrating the honorees will take place in Los Angeles, CA on Thursday, May 23 at the 1 Hotel in West Hollywood. Also new this year, a diversity panel featuring media executives and Hollywood A-list talent will precede the evening’s invite-only celebration. This year’s event sponsors include Haagen-Dazs, SAG-Aftra and 1 Hotels. Event details and panelists to be announced in the coming weeks.

People en Español’s editor-in-chief Armando Correa unveiled the complete 2019 Los 50 Más Bellos list last night during a one-hour television special on Univision’s El Gordo Y La Flaca. The list is separated by the Pioneers who broke down barriers and glass ceilings – from Rita Moreno to Gloria Estefan and Ricky Martin — and the New Wave of talent, including Bad BunnyKarol GLele Pons, and Cardi B, who have benefited from their trailblazing.
