Chesca releases her new hit single, “Deja de Hablar” Featuring Jon Z on Saban Music Group

Pop sensation, Chesca, becomes the newest addition to Saban Music Group’s (SMG) diverse repertoire of up-and-coming musical talent. Her breakthrough song, “Azúcar”, not only raked in over 4 million YouTube views but also helped her land a contract with the coveted record label.

Although it may be a bit cliché to say that being born in Puerto Rico is a sure-fire recipe for inherent musical rhythm and passion, this stereotype definitely holds true for Chesca. Born as Francesca, this talented singer/songwriter knew from early on that she was destined to pursue a musical career. At the age of 9, she became the lead singer of her father’s band, “Flashback”. After performing at various festivals and clubs, she received a development contract with Sony Music Latin Records.

Her meteoric rise was unfortunately halted after suffering a serious boating accident, forcing her to undergo 17 reconstructive surgeries and months of rehab. After a miraculous comeback, Chesca moved to Miami, where she was discovered by one of the creators of the Pussycat Dolls. After a short stint with an all-girl band, Chesca decided to stay true to her dream of becoming a solo artist.

As fate would have it, she was invited to collaborate with Armenchick on the hit song, “Kiss Me”. This instant wonder helped to cement Chesca’s name throughout Europe and forge an incipient career.

On October 2018, Chesca released “Azúcar”, a sensual tune that combines an upbeat rhythm, Latin flair, and stunning visuals that are reminiscent of nightlife in Old San Juan. After quickly reaching 4 million views on YouTube, Saban Music Group (SMG) took note of Chesca’s fresh, uncapped talent and brought her on board. Founded by media mogul, Haim Saban, SMG is a music label that aims to foster and promote diverse talent. SMG’s lineup also includes Israeli duo, Static & Ben El, French pop singer, Marie Monti and Colombian reggaeton superstar, Reykon.

Besides her hit single, Chesca’s highlight reel includes a participation with Pitbull on “La Reina del Blanco” track for the TV series, Queen of the South. She also took on an acting role in Nicky Jam’s, “El Ganador” docu-series on Netflix and was featured in the theme song of “Dora the Explorer” movie. Most recently, she performed with Miguel and Nicky Jam at San Diego’s Wonderfront Festival.

Chesca has two new singles, “Subelo” a new feature collaboration with Pitbull which was released on January 10, 2020 and “Deja de Hablar”, featuring the talented artist, Jon Z which releases today, January 31, 2020.

Undoubtedly, Chesca pays a loyal homage to her island’s nickname, “La Isla del Encanto” (The Enchanted Land), as her mesmerizing voice and Latin sex-appeal will sure catapult her name and career to the top of the charts.
