Paranioa Pop features ten songs, all largely recorded on tape and live. As a preview of this work, during the year Bandalos Chinos released the singles Mi Manera de Ser, AYNMG, Sin Señal and El ídolo, finally it was time to listen to their new entire work. The “Paranoia Pop” of the Bandalos is not, thus, a mere excuse to name an album, or a cool catchphrase or a concept tied to a single and linear reading. The pop paranoia, now in lower case, that Bandalos Chinos explores is a state, a process, an interpretation of history put into a musical work that reflects on itself and on its context. A live album that paranoidly reviews the history of pop and leaves it settled for posterity.
