Following the line they had explored with Demasiado, from their album BACH (2018), in El Ídolo, the Argentine band revisits, in a more upbeat format and with contemporary lyrics, the bolero and the Latin love song. The melodrama, the passion, the forced oblivion and the desire appear not only in the lyrics “drunk, crazy and without signal”, like Goyo Degano laments in a verse, but also in the musical environment that musicians build with the right balance of precision and feeling.
