John Rodriguez is thrilled to announce the release of his latest album “Brutal” which is now available! This production features Grammy award winning musicians that have performed alongside Irakere and the Spanish Harlem Orquesta.   “Brutal” is a new Latin Jazz production with a fresh and original concept guaranteed to pull you into its unique story as it unfolds through sound. From its swinging Latin percussion section to its flavoring horn solos, “Brutal” is sure to get people up and dancing.   From Salsa, Latin Jazz, and Brazilian, John Rodriguez has been performing for the past 30 years in the music industry. From his 1st. Production “Latin Inspiration” to “Brutal,” Johnny has once again teamed up with a number of great musicians from Chicago, Cuba, Venezuela, Colombia, Puerto Rico, New York, and Connecticut.

Chicago: John Rodriguez, Edwin Sanchez, Victor Garcia, Rocky Yera, Josh Ramos, Darwin Alejandro Noguera, Roy Mcgrath, Robert Quinones, Bobby Delgado, Yendrys Cespedes, Jaquin Garcia Chahia, Natanael Jaime, Oscar Lopez, Fabian Saldana, Al Sierra, and Tito Sierra, Some of Chicago top Musicians with Years of experience long list of references.   Cuba: Filiu OʼReilly and Alfredo Thompson who used to play with Irakere. They also won 3 Grammyʼs while working with Chucho Valdez. Papacho Savon who is currently working for Gloria / Emilio Esteban and who used to be Issac Delgadoʼs Conguero until he left Cuba. Joaquin “El Pulpo” Pozo is a well-known percussionist (Bata Drums) instructor from Cuba and recorded with Descarga Cubana. Venezuela: Roberto Quintero, conga player, currently lives in New York and has worked with everybody from Paquito Riviera to the Spanish Harlem Orquesta. He has also won many Grammys on his recordings. Columbia: Juan Carlos Montiel Rangel, salsa trumpet player, has worked with Cheo Feliciano and Ray de la paz. Puerto Rico: Jesus Alonso, studio musician, currently works with Juan Luis Guerra and his band, 440. Jesus previously worked with Gilberto Santa Rosa and Luis Enrique. Jesusʼ work in recording studios has won him prestigious awards from Latin Grammy & Grammy.   Connecticut/ New York: Bernabe Lopez, Mix Mastering Engineer, has worked on numerous projects in Salsa / Latin Jazz and is known for his quality work sound engineering. Jesse (Timbalon) Perez, Art JayKo Clinton, Andrew Studenski, Abi Robles, and Anthony Sisson. All hard working musicians that have a long list of references.
