Joaquin “El Pulpo” Pozo is a well-known percussionist (Bata Drums) instructor from Cuba and recorded with Descarga Cubana. Venezuela: Roberto Quintero, conga player, currently lives in New York and has worked with everybody from Paquito Riviera to the Spanish Harlem Orquesta. He has also won many Grammys on his recordings. Columbia: Juan Carlos Montiel Rangel, salsa trumpet player, has worked with Cheo Feliciano and Ray de la paz. Puerto Rico: Jesus Alonso, studio musician, currently works with Juan Luis Guerra and his band, 440. Jesus previously worked with Gilberto Santa Rosa and Luis Enrique. Jesusʼ work in recording studios has won him prestigious awards from Latin Grammy & Grammy. Connecticut/ New York: Bernabe Lopez, Mix Mastering Engineer, has worked on numerous projects in Salsa / Latin Jazz and is known for his quality work sound engineering.
