Torn between his love for Bachata and Metal, Andrés Bass founded Abismo Ónix in 2022. Inspired by Aventura fusing Bachata with other genres, Jinjer mixing soft and heavy, and Infant Annihilator’s vocal versatility; Abismo Ónix was born.
Members of the band include Andrés Bass (Vocals), Moises Carrillo (Drums), Isaiah Vega (Güira), Memo Murillo (Bongo), and Nathan Fussel (Bass).
