This next EP is about a series of encounters and opportunities, doors that open and others that close. Thats why the door acts as a symbol, representing the new paths that open or and the ones that are discarded. It represents the closure of a process or of hope (as the saying goes “When one door closes, another opens.)” Paths opening and closing, and in each one, a story or an ending, that is narrated in each track. The listener then, takes a look at each one and has the power to cross it, close it or open a new path. “Portales” marks a transition in the sound of the band, between the present and the future by reinforcing the meaning of the door. A portal opens to the future, revealing a bit of history, but when this stage closes, so will the portal.
