ogs and Killer Bees came about after talking to my friend about a new guy he was dating. It seemed he was already in love with him but he was scared he was going to mess it up. He kept telling me that this guy treats him better than anyone ever had, and it scared him. After writing the song I realized that my friend wasn’t afraid of hurting his new love, but rather he was scared to receive good love in return. Sometimes being loved is the scariest thing.
