Nadie Me Va Quitar Lo Que Dios Me Dio

Born in Fajardo, Puerto Rico and raised in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.  David nourishes a passionate love for music.  He developed this dedication for music during his childhood days which were often spent listening to and dancing Salsa.  David was very fortunate that his mother worked for a record pressing company which granted him the exposure to a wide variety of music and genres.  David always anxiously awaited the arrival of new music and would immediately go to the record player to experience the plethora of great sounds emanating from the speakers.

David acquired his first taste of being a DJ when he was working as the Event Coordinator for The Eighth Floor, one of the most exclusive and successful Latin clubs in Philly. Unexpectedly, however, opportunely for David, the resident DJ had to step away for an hour and handed control of the DJ Booth over to David. Full of nerves and adrenaline, David let the reverence and the soul he has for the music guide him to spin some of the hottest Latin beats around.  It was exhilarating to observe the crowd of people jamming to the beat and converging to the dance floor to enjoy the music he was playing, David was hooked.

Always seeking to hone and share his DJ skills, David ventures to as many diverse venues as possible to network with different DJs. He’s always attentive and listens to any and all genres of music to seek out fresh beats for his audiences to enjoy.
