Cuban New Yorker, Angel “Cuba” Chacon began his career as a Disk Jockey in Indianapolis, Indiana in 1996. One of only 3 tropical DJ’s in the state of Indiana at that time, Cuba worked all over the state of Indiana including South Bend, Fort Wayne, Bloomington and more. In 2000, Cuba became the Program Director for Indiana’s first Latino radion station, WEDJ 107.1 FM, La Primera. In 2002, La Primera was renamed Radio Latino 107.1 FM where Cuba continued as Program Director and host of the PM drive Caribemania. In 2004, Cuba left his post as Program Director for Radio Latina and focused on club and event promotion in Indianapolis. Cuba is relocating to the Tampa Bay area in 2010.
